No cooling. No heat. Call now.

A technician answers this line, not an answering service. Tell us what the system is doing and we will tell you honestly whether it needs someone tonight or can wait until morning.

Three things worth checking while you wait.

Any of these can resolve the problem before we arrive. We would rather tell you now than charge you a call-out to flip a breaker.

  1. 01

    Check the breaker first

Both the indoor air handler and the outdoor unit have their own breaker. A tripped one is the single most common cause of a system that has gone completely dead, and it costs you nothing to look.

  2. 02

    Check the filter

A blocked filter can freeze an evaporator coil solid. If you can see ice on the refrigerant line, switch the system to fan-only for an hour before we arrive — it will have thawed enough for us to actually diagnose it.

  3. 03

    Check the condensate switch

Many systems shut themselves off when the drain pan fills. If the pan under your indoor unit has standing water in it, tell us when you call and we will bring the right parts.

Not an emergency?

Send it through here instead and we will pick it up in the morning. Emergency calls always go ahead of the queue, so the form is genuinely the slower route tonight.
